While talking might not solve everything, it can ease the burden and stop you from feeling overwhelmed. There’s truth in the saying, “A trouble shared is a trouble halved.” Opening up to someone you trust is often the first step toward finding a way forward and addressing the challenges you’re facing.
You can call NHS24 on 111 to access the Community Mental Health Team and Crisis Service.
They work with local teams to ensure that people having difficulties or at risk of suicide can access Mental Health help.
The Samaritans provide emotional support to anyone experiencing distress or at risk of suicide.
